Guang Ping, boy, age 12 years.
Guang Ping is a healthy, happy, normal 12 year old boy who needs a forever family. His parents died when he was 4 so he lived with an older neighbor (who rarely fed him) until he was 7; he lived on the street for a year, selling items that he found for money to eat. When he was 8 he asked for help at the Social Welfare Institute where he was taken in and nurtured. Since then he has thrived and excelled.
In the SWI director’s words:
He is a student that loves studying and he is well behaved. Everyone likes him. At first arriving, he became silent for the changes of the environment. But soon he became active and lively under the caretakers’ care. He is polite and says hello to familiar people actively.
Now he is in grade four in Second Primary School. He abides by the school discipline and is a careful listener in class and completes the homework carefully. He also helps older staff to get meals and water and clean floor. He is obedient. He is interested in computer and likes to paint.
Guang Ping is an active and lovely child, extraverted, likes to play with a team of peers.
